Educational & Group Experiences at Williams Tree Farm
Limited availability – no dates available week of Thanksgiving
Williams Tree Farm has welcomed school groups, Scouts, day cares, homeschool groups, church and youth groups, senior groups, and more for over 40 years.
Our field trips are a chance to get outside, learn something new, and experience the farm in a hands-on way.
Traditional Field Trips
Our traditional Christmas-season field trip may include:
- A brief history of Williams Tree Farm
- Wreath-making and evergreen demonstration
- A look inside the Tree Barn
- Learning how Christmas trees are grown
- Tree shaking and baling demonstration
- Guided visit through the Children’s Farm
- Wagon ride through the tree fields
Outdoor Ed Days
Looking for something a little different?
Groups may also build an Outdoor Education Day with several learning stations, outdoor activities, a wagon ride, and time to enjoy our picnic area.
Golden Hour Group Outings
For a more relaxed group experience, ask about our Golden Hour Bonfire & Tractor Ride.
Gather around the fire, enjoy a tractor ride through the farm, and add hot dogs and s’mores for an easy fall or winter outing.
Reservations
All field trips and group tours require advance reservations. Availability is limited, especially during our Christmas season.
Fees apply to both children and adults. Children age 2 and under are free, with a small additional charge for optional treats or activities.
Groups receive one complimentary teacher/chaperone for every 15 children age 2 and older, with a maximum of six complimentary teachers/chaperones for groups of 90 or more.
