Williams Tree Farm is an amazing place for young school children to enjoy the fresh crisp winter air & experience the joy of being on the tree farm. Public School groups, Home School groups, Girl/Boy Scout Groups, Brownie Troops, Day Care groups and many other groups have enjoyed our School Tours for over 40 years.
School Tour activities may include any or all of the following:
- Brief History of the Farm
- Wreath making & decorating demonstration, educational talk on greens used
- Tour through the Tree Barn & tree growing process
- A tree Shaking and Baling Demonstration
- Guided Tour through our Children’s farm
- Wagon Ride through the tree fields
School tours can be arranged by requesting a Tour Reservation form or calling us at (815) 624.7579. We begin taking Reservations October 1 for the upcoming season. Tours must have reservations. Fees apply to both children and adults. Groups are allowed (1) free teacher per each 15 children over 2 yrs. of age; maximum is (6) teachers for 90 children or more. Children 2 years and under are free but do pay $1.00/ extra (cookie, donut, Hot cocoa, Hot cider, or coloring book) if they choose it.
